Asia’s emerging green job market

By Georgina On February 16, 2012 · Leave a Comment

The concept of ‘green job’ stimulation in Asia provides us with interesting, and ethical, questions. Whereas the USA, Europe and Australia are developed countries with static or declining populations, most countries in Asia are not. By Georgina On February 16, 2012 · Leave a Comment

As anticipated, the February 2012 Green Job Index shows a substantial improvement in the number of green jobs being advertised – just short of the high seen last July.  Green jobs are up 56% on last month’s figures, from 1640 jobs mid-January to 2574 mid-February 2012. ‘Green’ IT jobs, a burgeoning sub-sector

By Georgina On February 15, 2012 · Leave a Comment

Significant government funding will be spent on encouraging clean energy sources and their [...]

By Jan On January 17, 2012 · Leave a Comment

Moving to a bushland property last year has meant that I am finally able to commit to a few simple and worthwhile green resolutions for 2012. So whilst the rest of the team here in the office are trying (not very hard I might add) to stay off sugar or cut back the beers, I’ll [...]
