Our client provides engineering, environmental and specialist technical services for public and private sector clients around the world. They have made a commitment to grow their business in sustainability with a particular focus on climate change adaptation through leadership provided by their Community Development Infrastructure sector.
A seasoned individual with a consulting/ engineering is needed to provide leadership to the climate change business, to represent the business at CEO level in client organisations, and to grow and expand a credible sustainability business team.
The Successful Candidate must be able to provide technical leadership in climate change adaption as well as the ability to leverage solid industry networks to help raise the company’s profile in climate change adaptation. Furthermore, you will provide leadership of adaptation projects within main infrastructure sectors and possess a general understanding of climate change science and related legislation. You should have extensive experience in consulting or related industry coupled with a track record and reputation in climate change adaption. A demonstrated industry and market profile in adaption and good knowledge of climate change vulnerability assessment tools are crucial to the success of this role.
