GreenCollar is Australia's leading Executive Search and Recruitment company dedicated to sustainability and climate change. Due to new projects, new budgets and (finally!) a rubber stamp on new head counts, our client is looking for experienced Consultants to cover multiple regions in Australia.
The roles involve consulting to an existing client base, and reviewing their risk exposure to all climate change related issues. This covers GHG emissions, regulatory frameworks, carbon risk, and climate change policy, but instead of focussing on the costs, our Client is interested in people who actually understand the opportunities.
As a result, it is expected that you will posses a strong knowledge of the CPRS legislation, an understanding of the global carbon markets (including CDM/JI initiatives), as well as being abreast of renewable energy technologies and the potential ramifications of retrofitting existing polluting plants with appropriate new technologies. It is expected that you have at least 5 years commercial experience, preferably from a Consultative role, and are fully aware of the pending legislative environment that many companies will soon be facing.
Any experience from the cement, coal, or steel/aluminium industries would be beneficial, but not mandatory. What is essential is a great attitude, a thoughtful and intelligent approach, and a genuine desire to be known as a highly valued business partner.
